I've got two PMs to clammer that are stuck in my Outbox. Is it normal to have a several hour delay between clicking Submit and having the message sent? These are in reply to an earlier message, so I know it's possible to send messages to him.

Thanks

They will remain there until he opens them.

Yup until the recipient logs in and clicks on the pm to read it, they will sit in outbox, sometimes for days or weeks or even longer

Yes they will just sit there until opened, on a different fishing forum to this one but I sent a pm on feb 18th 2017 - it’s still there !

Umm...I would say that you could go ahead and delete that one now.

Another thing to consider is, if you click on user name it will show you their last log in date and time, I've seen people pull up ads in buy sell trade from many years ago where user hasn't logged in for some years and then they wonder why they are not getting a response
