I have a Targa V19 and have been thinking about getting a small grill or griddle for the boat. Would be nice at times to have hot dog, burgers etc. mid day instead of the typical sandwich. If you have one what do you have and do you like it? Would really like a small griddle, but smallest I can find is still bigger than I would need and is 30 lbs, then I’m not sure where I would store it. Wanted to see if you guys have any good feedback on what you have and how you like it. Thx

Not a grill, but I use a pocket rocket stove and a small stainless pot to heat brats in water. Everything nests in the pot (stove, fuel bottle, small tongs), so it takes up very little room. Always great to have something hot.

jet boil/ rocket stove is great.

If you want to go all out look at the Magma Kettle Grills and the pedestal or rod holder mounts. When choosing a mount its prudent to consider where you want grease and other junk to fall...

Install a bunch of these and owners are very pleased. Have also seen a bunch of DIY setups with less than desirable outcomes.

Have seen grills with a swing out mount designed to clamp to the rail on a pontoon, would think that would work on a rod holder rail as well. John Gillespie has used some sort of swing out mount grill on his show, probably can find in his sponsor listing.

We use ZIP Firestarters disposable charcoal grills on the ice, camping, etc. That would work, and when done, just ball it up, soak it, and bag it to toss later.

Email Ryan at Rytek marine and see what he used. He had one that used a Lund sport track bracket and a small bottle of propane.

I have a Little Weber that I bring in the boat all the time for brauts, hot dogs and shore lunch. The kids love it when we beach the boat and have a quick cook out. The Little Weber is an awesome grill. Runs on 1 lb tanks.
