Posts: 186 | I was thinking about heading to the windy city for the show but after 6 hours in my truck last week I'll just wait until it comes to Pittsburgh lol. Is their swap meets at all the shows? I wouldn't mind adjusting my baits around a lil

Posts: 32789 Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | MuskieFIRST was planning to host the swap with the food drive and the usual $2500 in prizes donated by OFM, but a Muskie club announced they were having one so we backed out. We'd much rather see a MI chapter or other conservation group benefit if possible, Slamr held to benefit a food pantry. For some reason people expect the show to sponsor a swap, which won't happen because a number of vendors don't like them, especially when tables showed up with all new product. Anyway, here's what I know: Fairfield Inn 2096 Bricher Road St. Charles, Il January 8, 7 PM As usual, the swap organizer doesn't want anyone there early. That never once worked.

Posts: 770 Location: Delavan, WI | Thanks for having the swap, however the location was not ideal, had I known it would be in separate rooms probably wouldn't have bothered making the nearly 2 hour drive in icy weather, also it was announced not to show up early and I got there around 6:45 and things were already in full swing, I was lucky enough to be able to split a table with someone in a tiny conference room which was down a hall and around a corner from where most were hanging out, felt kinda left out of the main group, another guy showed up a bit after 7 basically set up on a shelf in the corner which I imagine would be utilized as a closet, the bowling alley was a much better location with food, drinks more than 1 bathroom, and lots of room for sellers and buyers alike, really hope it's back there again next year, good effort on the organizers, but location they chose was cramped, and not sufficient for this size and type of event and I wouldn't have bothered showing up had I known what the set up would be like.
