will anyone be muskie fishing the the days before and after the full moon
Will you be casting or trolling. Do you ever fish through the night.
I'm thinking about fishing through the night. Thanks

Ah, youth! Yes, night fishing for muskies with a full moon rising is one of the coolest experiences I've had - several times! go for it if you've got the feelin. m

I fish through the night regardless of the moon because fishing pressure has become ridiculous, but generally have better fishing on the dark moon. In my experience fish tend will relate to structure a little more at night on the new moon and hang off deeper on the bright full moon. If you don't want to fish all night I would hit the moon set time which will be around 2amish to sunriseish.
