Lots of stuff going up around me tonight, every year five or six groups of people around my neighborhood blow off some pro grade big stuff better then going to the town show. 45 minutes non stop and there still going.
Have had lots of great 4th's thru the years. The best one was 1979 I was eighteen and was up at my grandparents place in the Eagle River area. At that time it was legal to drink at eighteen and I went to a barbecue and had some beers at a resort and it was a blast. Went home dejected because no one waned to go to town for fireworks. A friend showed up late after his shift at work and saved the day. Took off to a different resort and on the way over saw a bear (the first time I seen a bear)and went to the resort and shot off some bottle rockets and then as we looked at the sky and saw some weird looking things and it was a minor form of the northern lights. Another first! Today started off bad as I woke up to a very sick 87 year mom and a call to my sister and a 911 call she in the hospital hope she ok.
