I am torn between 9’ swat or a 9’ xh TI pro for a rod to throw regular dawgs and some mid size bucktails. Which one do you guys recommend? I haven’t used either before so I don’t know much about than what I have read on here. I hear the TI are a slower action, I generally run all fast actions. I will be putting a tranx hg400 on the rod.

Granted I want you to buy one of our TI PRO rods with the WIN grips and Revolution reel seats on them but I don't think you will be unhappy with the Chaos rod either. Rick makes some really good tackle for sure! But buy the TI PRO

The XH PRO casts regular dawgs pretty easily since they are only 5 oz. I used the XH to throw 10" Posseidons, and mag dawgs a lot this fall. They have plenty of backbone for fishing these kinds of baits.
