Just noticed these small indentations on a telescoping rod of mine at the very bottom of the blank when it is fully extended, anybody else have these? Will it effect the durability of the rod? -Thanks

That is the wrappings on the blank. It should be fine. Okuma, TI, Shimano, etc all have them. Some are deeper into the blank so you will not see it when extended but they are there. Same with 1pc blanks at the end of the blanks but in that case the butt section of the handle is covering it.
