My friend bought this old Tuffy a few years ago. It was in rough shape but he has since put a lot of work into it and brought it back to good running order. It’s a great boat. The seller said it may have been Len Hartman’s or at least Len may have appeared in a few musky fishing tv shows in it along With one or two other guys. Anyone recognize the boat or remember the tv show? My buddy is just looking for some history on it if it’s out there. Thank you.

I vaguely remember that boat. I'll check with the owner of Tuffy at the time and see if he recollects anything about it.

Great stuff goose007us!Neat pic.Steve please post what you find out.
I also have an old pic of a Tuffy which,if a doubtful memory serves, was the first or one of the first Esox Ltds made.Think about 1980 and maybe on a Maurauder hull.I think about then based on the hat I'm wearing.Would post the pic but don't want to raid this thread.Love seeing the 'old' boats!

HA! Probably right, don't want to scare folks.

I remember that Esox LTD, I named that ride and convinced Darrel/Tuffy to put a 60" livewell in it. Sold a TON of those back in the day. I think the one you had had a hand gelcoated inside on the livewell. Only a few early ones had that, they then built a livewell liner.
