Living in southern Minnesota, I've realized that most of my best fishing opportunities are rivers. I've been looking for a boat that will get me on those rivers but still let me hit the lakes (maybe not the LOTWs and Vermilions, but smaller lakes). After looking at just about every possibility I landed on this: a 2015 War Eagle with a 30hp Yamaha jet. I can't wait to get this rig on my local river! The only thing I want to add is to set it up for rowing so I can use it like a drift boat...other than that, I just want to fish it!

That's a nice set-up, jet engine makes it a great skinny water river rig.

Very nice! I've been looking for a rig like that myself.

Very nice! Well if you launch out of or stay at Glenwood Lodge you can fish the east and north side of pine island on vermilion without issue. I did it with my 14' princecraft. You will have plenty more opportunities in that boat than you realize you just have to find them.

Sweet ride there. I think you are going to love it. The flat bottoms we use do not have jet props. And it limits us on the rivers we have fished. I have been looking for a used flat bottom for a couple of years. I just have not pulled the deal as I have my other "Newer to me" older boat I need to get used to and use more than I do. You will have a lot of memories in that rig. Congrats.
