| This will be the first year I am running 3 depth finders on my Tracker Targa 185 with a 150 Mercury. Just curious how you all run your wiring. Will my starting battery be able to support all 3 units at once? 2 helix 9s and 1 helix 12 with side imaging if that helps? Any help is appreciated! |

Location: Northern Illinois | Yes I run 4 helixs on my 621, Just make sure you have the biggest group 31 battery available on the market, Look for the highest reserve capacity and the highest marine cranking amps. I went with -

| you def need to get the big boys. I run dual Helix 10 megas along with terrova 80# and 200 efi mercury..My starting battery is only a 24 my other 2 are 31s. I about to upgrade my starting battery to hopefully a 29 or 31.. the 24 dies fast with the big fish finders. Normally My big motor wont start if you fish more than 2 hours without starting the motor which is pain in the ass. Def get 31s if available |

| No need for an extra battery just need a "batteries plus" x2 31 agm. -4 sonars, Hydrowave, livewells, gls10 box all day strong. Starts my motor better now at 20* than a perfect 70* day |

| I appreciate the advice guys. Is the AGM route necessary or can I get away with the regular starting just in a bigger size? |

Been running this battery 3 years, 3 sonars, 200hp Merc, with zero issues. Commercial grade made for cement mixers, dump trucks etc. Can easily handle vibration and pounding that a boat gets. |

| The way an agm handles abuse of a boat life is indisputable, and the specificities of many agm batteries really woop up on lead acid, take a hard look at cranking amps and reserve capabilities maybe google how batteries are marketed with those number and you will make your own decisions. But to me this long slow load calls for a big agm. Ps the x2 has a 48 month 100% warranty vs other companies that pro rate for 36 months aka if it goes bad at 35 months they will give you a 1/36th discount haha |

| I bought a large AGM from Fleet Farm a couple years ago and have been very pleased with it. Holds a charge much better than the same size lead acid it replaced. |
