What are some of the solutions you have tried and had success with? I generally roll my edges over the lids of the decks and doors and simply run a line of staples but this is unsightly and I still have to trim frayed edges. I have never tried any products before. Never thought to look until today since I am embarking on another boat redo.

If the carpet is a nylon or similar you can use a small torch lighter to just slightly melt any edges not exposed, as it's not perfect, but really works. Good carpet glue should keep it in place.
