I’m going to have to purchase a new trolling motor before the next season. I’m leaning towards a 80lb Terrova and am looking for reviews of people’s experience with this motor over the last year or 2. Thanks a lot for any feedback you can provide.

Ran one on my 2018 Lund, and really liked it, excellent performance and durability. Switched over to an Ultrex this Spring and like it quite a bit better. Steers faster, I like the deploy and store better, and it's more rigid in the mount. Both have iPilot and Spot Lock, and the new Ultrex has Mega Imaging, important to me. Also added a Humminbird 360, and am really delighted overall.

I have the Terrova. Great motor. Does turn slow but quiet.
Ultrex was just too big and heavy for my boat But it is amazing motor.

Ran the Terrova for two seasons.. it's been flawless, and really can't justify switching.

I put a Terrova, 72", 36 volt on my Tyee and love it. With lift assist it comes up easy and deploys easy. I took an Ulterra off my boat because of problems. With I link it does everything. Great Motor!

I've had the same 80# terrova on my Lund for years without issue. I bought an older Ranger this winter to fix up. If you are looking to save a little $$$ I got a factory remanufactured 80# terrova with foot pedal for under $900. Looks brand new, only real difference is 1 year warranty versus 2. Anyway, I bought the same exact 80# terrova and have it on 2 boats because for the way I fish it is perfect.

I have a 24v, 80# Terrova and LOVE it! You won't be disappointed with it as it's a major upgrade from the powerdrive.

Aside from a rod and reel, the Terrova is one thing I cannot live without.

Not to hijack the thread but can the built in mega transducers in the new Terrovas connect with the first generation helix 9 for 2-d sonar? I’m aware the first gen isn’t capable of mega but didn’t know if I could use my original 2-d.
