| Sorry, tried posting a pic,
There is a missing cover where the I-pilot and US2 come out of the motor head. Nothing about it in the manual.
I just happened to catch it, if I had ran the boat, the motor would be shot.
I tried posting a pic, but it was too big. I didn't actually think this post went live, sorry. |

Location: MN | From your description, I think I know what you are talking about. It is located under the motor head. Sounds like it fell out of the motor, inside the box during shipping. They pop right back in. Nothing would have happened to the motor had you used it, the motor would have been just fine. Not sure where you got that information. The part helps hold the cords in place where they enter the motor head.
