Has anyone used the 400 hg for rubber (max mag bulldawgs) ?. Plan on using for glides/jerks but didnt know how suitable it would be for rubber

Mine works great for rubber, have thrown all the big baits even accidentally engaged the reel while pounder flying through the air a few times and still no issues. Great reel

I currently own 2 of them. They are super sweet reels and have thrown everything from pounders to jointed x-raps with them. I'm a Shimano guy and found that they continue to impress me. I never have owned a 500 tranx being said as I didn't like the bulkiness of it. Honestly buy one and never look back.

I had the TRX 400AHG on my LT Big Dawg rod all last year... loved it!!! I’ve been using Abu’s for years and have been very impressed with this reel. You won’t be disappointed!

Stock handle for me. Helps bring in dawgballs when ya get ‘em and I just like it even though I’ve never ran a power handle on any other reel.
