Going to be going on a walleye trip with my Dad/Brother at Lac Suel. Staying at the very north western portion of the lake (evergreen lodge). I heard there is not muskies on this portion of the lake. If I wanted to get away for 1 day and fish some muskies what would be best way to do this without driving/boating many hours?

Thanks!!!

Probably the closest option would be to drive south on the Red Lake Highway and put in your boat or rent one at either Cliff Lake or Cedar Lake. I liked Cliff better, but Cedar is more popular. Both have a good amount of fish

When are you going? Ask Gary to put you over on Detector lake for big pike. Shoot me a pm if you want.
