Assuming he's talking about the colored metallic blades that Saric featured. Not sure where to find them but I'd start with Dick Moore at Moores Lures and see if he has any or knows where to get them.

Not sure what you are looking for, but Randy Matheson at Tackle Concepts can make just about any blade you would like.

How do you think they get all those metallic blade colors on hooks/blades and crank-bait bills? They use a metal dye fluid commonly used in the tool and die industry called "layout fluid"

"Dykem" is a popular layout brand and I use the red color on all my hooks and crankbait bills to dye them red and after 30 years of using Dykem Red, it also is great hook rustproof-er as I have never had hook rust when dyed with DYKEM Red.
Another great Michigan supplier of layout fluid with a ton of colors is Kelly Labs from Shelby, MI. Cost of of 4 oz bottle of DYKEM red is under 10 bucks as I paid 7 dollars at Granger. It also comes in 2 oz "dobber" bottles. I have enough custom dye colors made to last 20 guys 12 lifetimes and I have less than 50 bucks in base colors.

This is NOT a paint!!! IT is 1 micron dye coating that penetrates the metallic structure of metal and is basically impervious to removal on fishing hooks and spinner blades, ....BUT...if you want to remove it all you have to do is wipe it off with acetone. I have mixed the different color fluids to come up with all the colors I need including copper, brass, green, yellow, purple, orange, etc and all colors of the spectrum. I use cheap double ended cotton swab Q tips and pitch them after use in my shop, but most of the glass .5 oz bottles I use have a brush in the cap for on-boat use just like a ladies' bottle of fingernail polish would have.

The nice thing about using layout fluid to color metallic blades is the stuff dries in about 20 seconds.

I buy ALL my blades in ONLY silver, nickel or chrome. I then color them to any color I need or want and I have yet to find any fisherman who can tell the difference. This is how the hook maker people color their hooks red ...they use metallic die maker's fluid!!! The last 4 oz bottle of DYKEM red I bought lasted me for 20 years...I now I put it small 1/2 oz bottles on my boat for instant use....RED hooks and Red billed crank baits catch fish!

LMAO.......The guy in the video is a idiot looking for a village. I use my 4 oz bottle of red DYKEM as a storage reservoir only as I pour out the Dykem into .5 oz bottles with a brush in the cap...Notice his "crap" comments centered around the packaging and not the performance? I think the guy should get out of his garage more because he has proven to me his fishing expertise is as limited as his hillbilly verbal skills...he should take my advice and contact the Beechem Lab people in Shelby, MI and use their 8 oz bottles of layout fluid as they have a "dobber" in the cap. I have found the dobbers carry way to much liquid as I have said I only use Q tips to lightly brush it on...I will add That DYKEM coated red hooks and red billed crank-baits have allowed me to cash some nice 4 digit MWC walleye tournament checks on Saginaw Bay....I wonder if Rapala and Mustad have heard this guy's hillbilly rant on using metallic die maker's fluid ????

Trust me Bud, it is waterproof and it won't rub off...unless you use acetone....if it gets scratched up....just re-coat it...I have did all the guess work and testing for you guys...if you don't like the container the DYKEM comes in from the factory, pour it into small glass bottle containers. Who in the heck uses WD-40 on baits????...that is primitive and neanderthal. I have an 8 oz bottle of Beecham Labs blue but I only use it for mixing other colors. Blue blades for me are not fish catchers for whatever reason...
