I agree with Don, Rowan lake.
My first musky trip was at Nielsen's in 1991 at 9yrs old. No muskies landed, but saw a few over 30 pounds and that was all it took. I did catch a 40lbs snapping turtle with a chunk of clam and big 7/0 hook. Dad loved unhooking that. got the entire thing on film for you naysayers. Don also gave me a brown and gold suick that I keep hung up in my office to this day.
The lake is beautiful, unpressed, and is a diverse system. Crystal clear water, deep weeds, deep rocks, lakers, walleye, pike and giant musky.
It was my best childhood memory. Named my son Rowan (3) and hope to relive that experience with him when he is older.
