| Where are people getting those big round "doll eyes" that I see on their baits. I've used the stick on holographic eyes, but I'd like to get my hands on those "bug eye" type eyes that I see people use. I think they refer to them as "doll eyes" or "taxidermy eyes". Any suggestions? |

Location: Moses Lake, WA | Go to your search engine and Google "clear glass cabochons." They come in all sizes and both round and oval shapes. Making your own eyes is trivial, take a toothpick coated with black paint (or the color of your choice) and lay it in the center of the flat part of the cabochon (that's if you want a slit like snake eye). Allow to dry, cover the flat back with superglue and then apply glitter of your choice. Voila, your eye is complete once dried and ready to be glued on to your blank. |
