My buddies dad booked us a trip this spring on lake Webster in Indiana, this will be the first time fishing this lake for both of us. Is there anyone that wants to make some recommendations on bait colors for this lake? And also anyone that can give some info on the lake structure? Much appreciated thank you!!

The lake has 5 basins with flats in between. Fish the edges and deeper flats where there are weeds. Anything shad colored is a good bet.

Black is always good (just like everywhere else) and I’ve caught lots of fish on yellow/orange/perch colors. Depending on how early you go the backwaters, the main channel coming out of the tubes, or Echo Bay should be productive. Gliders are your friend.

A friend and I are looking at heading that way sometime this year. How tall is the tube on Webster? I have Lowe fishing machine and he has a Tracker targa. Worried about our windshields making it thru the tube.

U can launch at the Dixie ramp, it’s steep but doable.

Launch from Socks Marina, it’s $4 in/out but it’s a straight shot.
Drop me a PM as it gets close to spring, I’ll LYK what the pattern is, I’m usually on the water as soon as the lures stop bouncing..
