Posts: 81 | What is your favorite bucktail for burning at high speeds. I've tried a couple that run great and other brands seems to take a bit before the blades will spin. I'm looking to pick up a couple before the weekend so any advice is appreciated. Joe

Posts: 937 | Spanky Double 8's The blades spin every time. They are heavier than most so they cast better especially against the wind. The extra weight keeps them down when you scream them in. Jeff Hanson madisonmuskyguide.com

Never heard this. yes , the quality is suspect. The blades are not always consistently spinning, and will also fall right off the bait sometimes (on baits that have caught fish). They simply don't always hold up if you are catching fish, and you need to be prepared with multiples on a trip. With that said...they catch a lot of fish.
