I think you can be serious, be and have fun. I bring two cameras in the boat. I take sunset, wildlife and whatever else looks like a great shot. Nothing wrong with taking pics of memories. Nothing wrong with decent food in the boat either.

Just don't bring banana's, I've heard bad karma surrounds banana's in a boat.

(I can't figure that one out either!)

What a pathetic pastime we pursue when forced to keep track of fish that got away, much less fish that followed and for how long they followed. And, yes, if a fish even "moved." You "moved" three fish today? Imagine as a young man pursuing the ladies your buddies says, "I saw a couple of girls tonight." I'd say, "whaaaat?" I'd put the loser on the next short bus to the "special" class. I'm giving this up or buying an exhaust pipe attachment that links to my mouth. The simple truth is I've "almost" had sex a whole of times, but can't think of a single person who would give a rip to hear about it.

Hey I've got no issue with the humor aspect of it and not to be a downer but I always try to make people aware of referring to "the short bus". I work with a lot of people with special needs and it is a belittling statement to them (in the same way that calling someone "retarded" would be). I know no harm was meant but a lot of people that ride the so called "short bus" you are referring to are pretty awesome and far from losers.

Actually, the myth of bananas being bad luck is kind of interesting...here's one of 1,000 articles about it I just found:

I'm not even going to open up the youtube link and just assume it's Aaron Wiebe (spelling?) up in Manitoba! That is freakin' hilarious! I saw that a few years ago and just thought he was being silly. Little did I realize he was doing all he could to dispell the myth of bananas!

I use it for hits, ie, say 10 hits in a day and we caught 6..., 6 for 10.

Agreed.
