Go somewhere and try them on ,to determine the best frame for you. Don't just order online and hope they fit. I'd recommend getting glass.

Costas are wicked. I own 2 pairs. Green mirror and sunrise yellow for low light.

Your experience will vary significantly from tannin waters to clear waters. I love my blue Costas for Lake Michigan, but they aren't worth a #*^@ in the UP.

We like the green mirror 580 lenses. I've got the blue also, but those are a much darker lens. Great for saltwater and on bright sunny days, but not so much for cloudy days.

I have Costas with the 580 glass and also have a couple pair of Maui Jims. I always wear the Costas when I fish and haven't found anything better so far.

I sometimes see guys wearing white framed sunglasses and always wonder why. It must be because it think it makes them look cool or something. White reflects glare and that's what you are paying good money to try to reduce. Why put something white next to you eyes on the water where it's gonna reflect? Makes no sense. You ever see pro athletes wearing "eye white"?? Nope they always wear "eye black" to reduce the glare.

I never wear a cap that has white on the underside of the bill either. Always have one with a black or dark blue or something to absorb the glare. It makes a difference.

The white costa frames are black on the inside. I chose them because I felt they would not absorb the sun as much as a darker frame. Feel cool not look cool!

love my Costa 580s with blue mirror, Fathom frame. Best for sunny/partly sunny days.
For cloudy or low light I have yet to find a better pair than the h30s with Polar Clear lense... only $35 bux too.

you can get costas for a steal off ebay. Got my fantail 580s for almost $100 less than retail.

Ive tried a lot of different ones include oakleys costas ect. and I found the Maui Jims are the best for seeing through the water. The amber/brown lenses are best but are not enough for me in really bright conditions. The black/dark lenses work great almost all the time. Its not uncommon for me to spot follower for fishing partners 5 feet before they can see it.

Love my Costa 580 blue lenses for everyday wear but wasn't a huge fan in the stained water at LOTW...I still prefer my Native with Rose color lenses for up there.

I like Costa's and Oakley's. I am actually selling a pair of Costa Hamlin 580P's in the green mirror. Love the lenses but they are a little too big for my face. If you're interested let me know. Like new, no scratches

Where did you get your H3o's? All i've found are $119 or $59. Thanks

Another vote for the Costa's 580G green mirror for all purpose uses. Specifically for low light, I've been very impressed with the Smith Optics low light ignitor lenses. It seems to actually "create light" while still eliminating glare.

I used to buy the plastic lenses and scoff at the folks spending triple (or more) for their glass lenses. Then I got a pair of Costa's....for me, it's now pretty much impossible to go back to the cheaper plastic lenses. Really seems to make a difference.

many of my friends that have tried my Polar Clear lenses have all ordered them...I'm intrigued by MattD's Smith ignitor recomendation above but so far, the Polar Clear lense is unreal for low light and cloudy days... the ones I wear now are the Rage frame.

Be sure to order extra nose pads as they tend to come off a lot.

580 Glass lens rock. I use my blue mirror on sunny days and the brown mirror on dark days. Wish I'd tried them years ago.

I have 5 pairs of Costas! Love them, people think I am crazy for wearing 260 dollar glasses until they put them on fishing. Then they don't want to give them back. I love my Fathoms 580G grey lenses for normal wear and Fantail 580g Green Mirror for must fishing conditions. I also have ambers for low light or darker days.
