| Hey Guys,
I don't have the key for the locks on my storage cabinets.
Should I just have a local locksmith create a key or do I need to contact Ranger to get some sort of code to give the locksmith?
Thanks |

Location: MN | I did that years ago, they were very good about it, sent me different keys like 3 different times, but never did get me a key that worked. They couldn't explain why either. |

| I had the same issue. The folks at Ranger swore up and down that I had Perko latches and that I could get keys from Perko. The folks at Perko asked for a picture of the compartment latches and verified that they were definitely not Perko latches, and sent me back to Ranger. When I sent Ranger the picture, the lady said "OH! I know which ones those are!" Had my keys three days later. They didn't even charge me for them. |

Location: MN | And if someone really wants to get in, a locked latch isn't going to stop them, and would barely slow them down. But I might try again. Would just give me a tad extra confidence if I could lock them. |

| I'm not expecting the lock to stop someone serious about getting in.
Just a deterrent for someone looking for a quick grab. |

| I looked at see that there is a code on the Perko locks on my boat. If it's anything like my locking office file cabinet, you can give that code to a locksmith and he can make keys very easily.
