Location: Madison, WI | Looking at a 200 Verado and was wondering if anyone has owned this motor. Would be a change from an optimax. Year of motor is 2011. The only experience I have with 4 strokes are buddies who run Yamaha l. |

| I only know the L6 block is better than the i4. The 6 cost more but it's a detuned 400 hp motor rather than a maxed out 200hp motor. Makes them last a long time. |

Location: Madison, WI | Curious as to how to go about figuring if it is a L6.or an i4. I believe it is a 200xl...not sure if that makes a difference or describes which block. |

| If it's a 2011 I believe it would be an L4. I had many issues with mine but know plenty of guys who love them. |

| 6 cylander inline is taller than the 4 cylander inline. Once you see it you will be able to see the. Driving down the road. The cowling is probably 35% taller than the 4cyl.
The xl is the shaft length. 25"

| Go with the Yamaha or Honda!
I've heard of a lot of problems, from people who work on them and own them. |

Location: Madison, WI | Guessing is is definitely a 4 cylinder. Yamaha isn't an option as its a change of boat as well. |
