Are you guys sealing cedar? I've been working on a few lures since the water hardened and I'm about ready to seal before I send the first shipment off to be painted. I'm thinking about just starting with thinned e-tex lite, sanding, painting, then finishing with a few coats of e-tex. I'm new to this so any help is appreciated

YES--you need to seal CEDAR---That method of sealing will work--- so will a sanding sealer.

Yep, sealing with thinned E-tex lite will work good. I use denatured alcohol to thin the e-tex using a 1:1:1 ratio.Thinning the e-tex helps it soak into the wood better.

Another question: Do I need to use a lure turner for the sealing coat ur can I just hang the lures after I hit them with the thinned epoxy?
