I caught a 42" this morning with everything acquired through M1st. I'm sure there are lots of guys out there that can claim this. I got to thinking about it...probably the first time it's happened to me...

Got her on a giant "Whoosh" made by "mnmusky." The lure was attached to a leader made by "BNelson." The leader was tied to power pro I acquired from "Geno" at the MN expo. The line was spooled to a 6501 C3 I traded with "seilers" last summer. And that reel was seated on a TI 9' XXH telescoping I got through some pm's and emails with "Tackle Industries."

Also, my first metro fish this year...finally!

Too funny! I wasn't going to post the pics. After walking out with her as she swam away, I got to thinking about all that went into that catch. Thanks M1st and all the great guys that make this pursuit what it is for me...a blast!

Don't forget our Shimano Rep asked for some feedback on that spool of power pro once you get a good amount of use on it. Nice fish!

I bought a custom rod from a builder off of craigslist who was a long time Muskie1st member who told me about the site and I signed up soon after and cursed him ever since but i still love that rod and all the ones he's built for me since then.
Thank you craigslist!!
