Posts: 256 Location: Madison, WI | Excellent footage from the head cam! Great perseverance to hang in there after losing the first fish. Many of us would have been crying in our beer and wouldn't have had the fortitude to stick with it after the first fish. Well done! Congratulations on a great fish! "Jackpot" John Schroeder

Posts: 291 Location: Madison, WI | I got the pleasure of being the first to congratulate him at the dock as they were coming in at the same time as we were at Tamarack. Chris and his kid are super nice ppl and you can tell the kid has a great head on his shoulders. He was still beaming ear to ear (his dad was more though). Awesome to see the video after getting the story.

Posts: 394 Location: WI | Great video & fish. Not bad for his 1st day of the trip. Now how about seeing his "little" fish from the same day.... Nice meeting you 2. Dave

Posts: 129 Location: North Metro - Twin Cities | Thanks for all the nice comments on the video and Matt's fish. He was so excited he couldn't fish for about 40-minutes after the catch. As you can imagine, he is still talking about the fish and the trip. As for Tamarack, what a location! We had muskie action within shouting distance of camp, the walleyes were easy and smallmouth fishing was great. All the muskie anglers in camp we met could not have been more friendly. Everyday either at the dock or in the lodge we all shared daily info on what was working for lures and locations. Tamarack owner Todd can correct me on this but I think between about 5-boats chasing muskies, 5 50-inch or better fish and a couple of upper 40's were boated in camp Sunday through Tuesday. It doesn't get much better than that! Chris
