I'd also take suggestions for anywhere northern MN for this group.
They like to bobber fish. ( killing me )
Anyway need to be pet free as one of them has allergies.
Thanks,

Steve?

I've been to Spring Bay on Vermillion and was extremely satisfied with both the fishing and the accommodations. Won't meet a nicer group of people. I wouldn't hesitate for a second to go back if I could ever get time off work.

I know people who fish pelican and they tell me it is an awesome multi species fishery. I am pretty sure there is a pelican lake website with resort information. I have picked good resorts on other lakes doing this.

Vermillion is a good multispecies lake especially the west side. The west side has excellent panfish.

No dogs at Spring Bay Resort now, Koda had to be put down, unfortunately. Contact Steve to make sure they don't have plans to add a new member to the family, I didn't speak with him about it.

Been quite awhile for me but Pelican in Orr was a great experience. Enormous bluegills and great smallie fishing. I remember the gold liked leaches.

I used to fish Pelican as a kid. Last time i was there, 2011, before being bitten by the musky bug in 2012, the walleye numbers were poor. Some buddies have a duck camp there and quit fishing walleye there because it's remained poor. I last stayed at Aspen Resort in 2011 and believe it was pet free. It also has a pool and decent lodge for the kids to play in. Fishing, lots of the above, as well as good largemouth and some gator pike! I lost a low 40's pike to the pontoons, but caught several low to mid 30's gators. Red and white, silver, and 5 of diamonds dardevles, mepps rooster tails and agila with gold and firetiger blades will keep the kids busy with snot rockets and an occasional big one. North and West of Big Island were best for big ones last time I was there. Don't skip out on the Vince Shute Wildlife Sanctuary. The kids will enjoy seeing all the bears that close.

Thanks everyone for input.
Hard for me to go somewhere without muskie when they are in season.
To bad about Koda, visited our cabin every day.
Jay ... no kids allowed. lol
Right now looking at Pelican and Kab.
We shall see.
I wouldn't mind cooking up a bunch of pan fish, right Steve?
