We had similar results caught two 39" and a 42" but lost three others one around 45-47" or so. Had several others swing and miss as well. They definitely were biting on Tuesday

lost 4 separate fish shore fishing Cedar last night. Buddy picked up a 37 on Harriet.

Saturday's forecast looks brutal.

Saturday's forecast looks brutal.

Why? The wind? The evening storm?
Both seem good to me. The warmer air temps shouldn't be a factor Sat.

Just looks like a lot of work (wind), but an awesome shot for a beast. We'll be fishing every minute that I don't feel there's a risk of lightning.

If you ask me, the weather yesterday was about as good as a guy can ask for. Except today might be even better.

You nailed it. Marked those days on the calendar once I saw the forecast, and headed to Musky land. Several hits, catches and swipes that morning before the rain, for the best bite in terms of avg size. of the inland season. Cold temperatures never bother me, as do the high pressure/skies that oft follow but only lasted a few hours on Wednesday in WI before the next system swung in. Had to come back to work, but I would've loved to have been up there Thursday and Friday.
