Nope. I use a stripping basket I made from a seat post. I actually like to stand as close as I can to the trolling motor and GPS to help keep the fly off the boat and not hit anything. | 1990 HydroStream Vasserret w/ an Evinrude 150 XP. Not meant to be a fishing boat, but with a few mods it works just fine. I built the front platform to fit over the front seats which is very stable & strong yet can be removed easily. Same for the bow mount trolling motor. Added a quick disconnect for the trolling/battery hookup for easy removal and charge. Takes less than 5 min either way to get set-up to fish, ski or cruise the lake with family/friends.
