| Larry, Did the Tiger come out of Mayfield? I'll be fishing Mayfield in September of this year with my brother David.I talked him into going for tiger muskies,the trade off I have to fish for Coho with him in the Cowitz River below the dam the next day.

| It appears that Utah’s state record for a catch and release Tiger Musky is 53-1/4”, caught out of Pineview Reservoir by Ray Johnson on November 28,1998. So the Washington Tiger Musky, at 50-1/2”, 36 pounds would be ‘hot on their heels.’ 
But, they’re both still a long way from the world record Tiger Musky world record caught by John A. Knobla on July 16, 1919 out of Lac Vieux-Desert, WI-MI boarder waters ---51 pounds-3 ounces! |

| it's my understanding that Ray Johnson had a bit of the ol' Louie Spray in his blood. i think it was on his mother's side. well-known record chaser round them Pineview parts...may have earned his reputation for being a bit loose and free with the accuracy of his measurements...
Mr. Kent Sorenson on the other hand...

Location: Hayward, Wisconsin | Here are a couple of 50 pound + tigers. The first is John Knobla (L) with the world record at 51-3. The other is Dolores Ott Lapp with her 50-4. Both were remounted by Ron and Rick Lax and Ron said he couldn't tell any difference in the two.

As for the Washington fish, so what if it was bonked? We're talking about a stocked fishery, of a species in which only a very tiny percentage can ever successfully spawn. |

Location: Oregon | My understanding from reading a brief summary put out by the resort is the fish was 52 inches long. It was caught at Curlew Lake this past summer but no word what the fish was caught on. Here is another photo of it. This fish is huge!

"I caught 3 tigers this year but only 1 was big- 50 1/2 inches and 36lbs. Doug at Tiffanys mistakenly says it is 52". It might have been slightly bigger than I originally measure- I just wanted to make sure it was legal. I have pictures with a tape measure (attachment) but I am not quite to the tip of the mouth on the left
side. You can zoom in and see the exact size."
