Posts: 114 Location: Central Wisconsin | Hello all - Here are some of the ones I have recently finished. All hand made. The larger WTD's are made of popple, and the prop baits from clear red cedar. They all tested nicely. Let me know what you think. Thanks Attachments ---------------- Picture 035 (Copy).jpg (53KB - 131 downloads)

Posts: 339 Location: Maryland | I love the color combinations you do on your lures! Especially that orange/black/green wtd pattern. What you call that color combination? Do u sell any? cuz i also want that bumblebe prop bait and that color on a wtd lure also. Also is there a reason y u have 2 split rings on a couple of your hook attachments? Posts: 531 Location: Hugo, MN | The double split rings make it very difficult for a fish to get any leverage on the hook. Larry Dahlberg had a conversation with Patrick Sebile about different tweaks that could enhance a gliders action and hooking percentage. They talked about ditching the rear hook all together, and adding a split ring to the remaining front hook to increase mobility without having to add an expensive ball bearing swivel. Great episode if you can find it on youtube or something.

Posts: 114 Location: Central Wisconsin | I haven't sold any yet, but would like to someday. Me and my buddies boxes are getting full. As far as what I call the color combos, bumblebee sounds good, and I don't have names for the other, I just paint what looks good to me. The double split rings serves two purposes, one being like Knooter said, less leverage for the fish to throw hooks because the treble can can actually rotate around almost twice. Secondly I wanted the hook to extend further back so it bumps the metal prop, it just adds to the sound a bit more. Anyways, thanks for the comments

Posts: 114 Location: Central Wisconsin | Just a few more, the black and orange has a 2-piece tail prop variation that has a little more clack to it. Also the first attempt at the creeper style.
