There are many older lures on the market but how old of lures see the water?

I have some old Mepps, DareDevles, Johnson Silver Minnows, a Pikie Minnow, a couple of org. Pflueger Globes, and a couple Cisco Kid Toppers all from the 70's or older that I still use.

Let's not omit the J-13 Rapala.. I have a beat up one in gold finish thats caught a lot of fish... most notably the same 40+ musky repeatedly over a five year period.

I say the because it came from a spot along a row of trees, with the boat in 14'. It was also a bit longer every year..

Not vintage by any means but there's a black Super Spook that I've had similar success with, as well as a 9" perch color Suick. there's a lot of paint missing from both lures.

I've done net job's for fishing partners who caught Muskie on J-13's and missed a nice Hybrid here in Colorado when the fish did head shot on FireTiger colored J-13, but for me it's claim to fame is the day in Canada I out fished my buddy like 56-8 on Pike on a Orange back gold sided lure. (my buddy with all his lures had no J-13's) When we got home he loaded up.

I have a few Reef Hawgs that are always in my box, and get thrown quite a bit. The hook rash has worn grooves into them. The eyelet on the nose has caused some cracking. Plus I still have some Eagle Tails from back in the mid 80's when I first started chasing the ski.

I once fished with a couple guys that used 9' surf rods and J-13 Rapalas. One of them boated the only fish that day.
