i heard a rumor that Michigan plans on stocking 250,00 muskies this year.  Any truth to this.?  Seems like a lot.

Did you mean 250,000 or improperly punctuate 25,000 by mistake? Either way it's way more than Iowa gets, unfortunately

We always HOPE for 25,000 +. Some years, there has been trouble at the hatchery. But sometimes, our biologist hit the nail on the head and everything goes smoothly. Last year, we stocked just over 56,000 fish.

They just stocked 36,000 in various lakes & rivers around the state.
