Check out the video top of the timeline, one of the coolest things I've ever seen while Muskie fishing.

"Thank you very much for the juicy sausage Mr. Fisherman, sans hooks!"

Hmm. Free meal. *CHOMP!*

It's stuff like that makes me question whether it's ever a good idea to wash your hands in the lake after releasing a fish.

They do swim a lot more natural without hooks in them. Cool video.

Nope. The reel you see is a Revo Toro. Brad loves those reels. Sent the prototype reels back today, have something else new to try from Abu on the way.

There's some really cool new gear on the way in 2015.

I realize there was 3 guys in this boat and everyone was probably not casting. But I was wondering if it is legal to cast and have a sucker out in Ontario or if you are only allowed 1 rod per person. Anybody know the answer. Cool video

We had three anglers in the boat and during this video, only two lines in the water. We ran two suckers a couple times, so two of us sat while one casted when we were doing that. Too bad we weren't doing that when this happened, we may have had a heck of a double.

When Keith or I were not filming, we sometimes had two and never had more than three, Brad knows the law and is very careful out there.

One line per angler.

Awesome video! That poor sucker never had a chance! Lol
Reminds me of the movie Final Destination. There's no escaping it when your time comes.

My dad was on a lake with big pike fishing with my sister, she caught a small pike and my dad released it for her, washed his hands in the lake and as soon as he pulled his hands out of the water something hit the side of the boat hard. He hasn't put his hands in the water again since and that was like 15 years ago so it must have scared him. Never did see what it was though.

1. You took it on a primarily Musky fishing trip (assumption).
2. AG already introduced the Beast (though that's not to say that they couldn't/wouldn't introduce another Bass sized reel, but that AG product segment already has quite a few options)
3. Hopefully AG has been paying attention to the success of the Tranx & Lexa 400, and would like to break into a market segment that they have no presence in (not counting the NaCl in this larger reel market segment since it it more of a 300 size).
4. Hints from your previous posts on this subject.

Supposition. The trip certainly was not 'primarily a Muskie trip' so that shoots that down. One day strictly walleyes, one strictly Pike, and one for Muskies.

There were TWO reels, not one.

You will like what they have done.

Looking forward to seeing "them". Have been an AG fan for a long time.

I'll "bite", and take a guess at what's coming out.
First guess: 400ish sized Revo Toro type in 2 different gear ratio's.
Second guess: 400ish sized Revo Toro type, and a reel line to replace the Revo Toro's that were discontinued last year (something below the NaCl line).

Based on what you've said about them, AG hit their mark. We'll see in July.

Always! Well if its the same size as the NACL 60s and has the power and retrieve of a Tranx even better!
