i have the nav plus chip and i find the sonar is lousy compared to the $9.99 app on my ipad. May not have the sonar setting correct on the 7 touch?Any suggestions on setting sonar.

Location: The desert
Can you elaborate more on the issue?

Are you talking about The map with contour intervals that is connected to GPS? Or sonar? Two wildly different things.

Have you turned on the Fish n Chips in the Lowrance menu? Fish n Chips is the Sonar Charts feature.

olddog what lake are you looking at? The data on the webapp will be the same as the whats on the chip.

I work for Navionics so if you have any questions I can help you out.

Here is what you should be seeing with the SonarCharts view, if you are still having issues take a picture of the screen
