Has anyone installed this kit and what was your experience with it? From what I can tell it is an OEM mercury kit- not aftermarket & it really seems like a good idea to have power tilt on your kicker motor- I know the Big Foot comes with it already but, a new one of those is over $3k, and I already have a 2005 4 stroke 9.9 - this kit can be purchase online for about $650- any and all suggestions, experience , info is much appreciated Thanks!

I have installed them before, takes a couple of hours. They work good. You will want to have a way to strap the motor when it is tilted up so that it does not bounce too much. I think you need to buy a switch to complete the kit.

Thanks for the reply kjgmh- can you be a little more specififc on way to strap down motor? does that mean i need to put an eyelet in the hull or is there a different way? pic would be great if available - also what type of switch- just a toggle? I really
appreciate the reply - Thanks again!

I like the TH Marine transom switch. For a strap the Panther 55-1500 works on most setups.
