How do you guys like to work the Hellkat? Mine do not swim real well on the steady retrieve like a bulldog.It seemed to work better as a jerk/glider action for me.

I use it as a rip, jerk. If you bend the head half slightly upward, you should get a swimming action. Almost like a jitter bug action, a nice wobble to it.
