Hey I was wondering if people could list musky tournament dates and locations for the 2015 season. My cousin and I are looking to get into a few more this year. We will be attending the national musky open in eagle river wi august 21-23. We will also be attending the Midwest musky classic in Phelps wi October 2-4. If there are others please list them.

On a side note I do hold a musky league starting the southern musky opener. It runs every Sunday on random lake in random lake Wisconsin. Entry fee is $50. We pay cash prizes for biggest fish and fisherman with the most total inches of fish. All fisherman entered get a shirt and the winners get custom ones made. We are also looking into having some custom baits donated to winners this year. Last year was our first year and it went really well. This is a fun league to improve on your skills. If anyone has any interest please pm me. We are always looking for more people.

This is a fun tourney with ok prizes. Every year there's grumbling about how the same people are cheating but its still fun. The majority of the fishable waters are in Chippewa County.

I'm really excited to hear so much stuff in the works. I guess it's likely too much to ask, but I really hope that some care is given to the long-established events already on the calendar. It's not like there are all sorts of great dates nobody is using, but I'd hate to see events "just down the road a piece" competing for the same few anglers???

I feel that is the case Junkman.... Especially competitions at popping up during PMTT dates, everyone knows that's where the money is

It looks like the tourneys are all approved now. Interested, but there has to be some publicizing of this "trail" sooner rather than later. Even if the coordinator were to come on here, make mention of it, how to register, who to contact, etc. that would likely help people plan.

Hope to hear more soon.

Edit: Looks as though some are approved, but not all (Namekagon is pending).

This looks like an awesome tournament. A lot like pmtt. Aren't the championship tournament s on the same days though? I'm not sure if I'll be able to fish this though. My cousins have weddings on August 29th and September 26th. So I'm kinda screwed
