Location: brooklyn park mn | I went outside to go fishing to find that my lowrance elite 7 hi fish finder was full of water inside from when it rained out day before. Turns out it is out of warranty by 2 1/2 months. Any one ever have this happen? Any one know if lowrance repair is reasonably priced or am I better off buying new one. Won't turn on after drained water from it. It tries lighting up here and there but no go on working. Think it may be fried. |

Location: Kronenwetter, WI | Sounds like ur gaskets are shot. Open up and air dry. Should be able to order new gaskets. I would not run power while wet. U might be okay...open her up and get her dried ..can speed up with a hair dryer w.o. Heat. Reassemble and plug in. If it works order new gaskets and keep out of rain until uninstall them |

| No parts are available for these units. I have had the nut loosen on the various plug ins on the back of the unit. Best to check these annually and snug them up. You best plead with Lowrance for a replacement or discounted upgrade. |
