My Okuma has been having some issues - retrieving lures with resistance, the reel "clicks" hard every few revolutions and "slips" when doing so. What is the issue, and what do I need to do to repair?

Thank you.

If I were you I'd present that question to our Muskie First reel expert "PikeMaster." I'm sure he could help you with that problem.

If i were you, I'd send it back to Okuma to fix. Sounds like you tossed it once too many times with the reel engaging during the cast.

Yes send it back to Okuma, I stock NO PARTS for the Okuma reels.
