Posts: 216 | Thank guys. I've been wanting to buy a new revo nacl for the 9' xxheavy I caught that pig on.but with the TI rod giveaway contest you had going on I had to peel the plastic off it,swap my revo winch off of the custom x and try to catch one on it to enter. I was telling my buddy on the to the launch about the contest, told him it was the last day to enter a fish and that if I caught one on this new rod, I wanted him to prop it up so you can see it real good in the picture.Well after a very hard fight and "exciting" net job, when I pulled this pig up on my lap for a couple quickies I was yelling obscenitys, camera instructions, and complementing the great net job, lol, and forgot all about displaying the rod.Beast! So fat, very wide across the head and back, and deep belly from head to the second set of fins. Layed her down on the ruler across the center seat that has had so many scratches on it past 50" that you can't even read it anymore,I turned my headlamp to check the position of the tail and get a look and she flipped out, jumped outa the boat.Would have liked a solid length and girth on that one.A few replicas for the man cave someday would be cool.Mega?? Posts: 171 | OK....I don't have a "social media appropriate" picture, but I caught a 53.5" giant at Lake St. Clair in mid-November. Gold medusa did it. She was quite fat and my new PB (previous was 48", so this is my first fiddy). Kudos to Capt Mike Hulbert for all the tips. He was fishing nearby when I caught it, but I did it solo. She only fell out of the net twice before I finally got her in the net and in the boat. I think I was shaking for a couple hours...... ErieBoy75 | ||
