Here is a soft tailed glider I made the other day , I was happy with how it swam . I don't like the look with the smaller thinner tails but the don't mess with the glide nearly as much as the thicker ones

Great looking bait. I have made similar lures before (though definitely not as nice!) and have run into the same issues with the tails. But they do work that's for sure, good luck!

Thanks guys, With the small thin tail I found that the spring from inside of an ink pen worked great .I stretched it out just a hair . It is recessed and epoxied into the rear of the bait .
