Hi everyone, I am trying to make a buck tail and am having problems painting my Colorado blades. I've tried both powder paint and airbrushing but it's not working. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Suprised powder paint is not working for you.
How are you going about the powder paint process?

I heat it up then quickly put it in the powder and then heat it up and it doesn't work

I airbrush paint blades and spray Devcon epoxy thinned with denatured alcohol. I do a few hundred a year for the walleye guys.

How do you spray epoxy? I only heard of applying it with a paintbrush

I use denatured alcohol. I spray it through a paschhe h singly action gun which is easier to clean. I would not suggest spraying through an internal mix gun. Takes a little figuring out for viscosity. I use Devcon or a crystal clear 15 min epoxy from my local hobby shop.

I have a airbrush and it's single action, but will it wreck the cup?
