I do the majority of my musky fishing in Northern Wisconsin. That being said, I'm having a hard time understanding what is meant when I read articles referring to early or late fall. What months or water temps break down the difference of early vs. late fall fishing?

Thanks,
Jaimy

To me, "early fall" starts Labor Day and ends when the leaves are down. Late fall ends when the lakes freeze.
