| Hello all.
Have a question that input would be appreciated if possible.
Lets say I have a bait that I would like to mass produce..
And it taking 1 1/2 hours to do it now is not a option.
Was thinking of using a injection system and mold possibly ?
Believe a few baits like Tuff Shads / Stakers / Pearson and I think Loke have went that way..(not positive) don't have any new ones.
Any thoughts or ideas or contacts on this topic ?
ANY and ALL info. greatly appreciated.
Have talked with a company but would like to hear from Musky guys about this..

| Making a mold and pouring Resin is always an option. Check out some of Larry dahlbergs stuff on his website. He even sells a starter kit. |

Location: Money, PA | Injection molding is very costly unless you're looking to farm out your bodies; even then the initial set-up costs are up there. I pour my baits and make my own molds from resin at this time with intentions of eventually getting permanent molds made. M. Richardson is the guy to talk to on this site who will enlighten you on the whole subject....Good Luck.

Location: Minnesota: where it's tough to be a sportsfan! | If you are good or know someone good with CAD programs you can do the file and then take it to a rapid prototype company. You can even have lower cost tools produced by them that will make between a 1,000 and 10,000 parts before they are shot. The big cost in injection molding being the tool. |
