Posts: 609 Location: Seymour, WI | I have been getting more follows on Suicks lately. I used to think of this bait as one that the fish would just hammer and not follow, but they seem to be getting smarter and smarter... wondering if anyone has any ideas on getting these fish to eat at the boat?

Posts: 470 | Just started fishing them, planning on bettering my tactics but I recently read an article by Steve Heiting that mentions a tactic of letting the suick float to the surface and linger there with a small twitch if the fish stays interested. Posts: 219 | I have had the most luck with just increasing speed, staying deep and going straight into a figure eight...no pull pauses. Speed and depth being the key for me. Deadsticking also has paid off. Sometimes just change colors....its easy and has been good for me as well.
