A few years back on opening day trollers were boating 50-60 musky a day on the Canadian side. Last year my buddy & his friend did great casting the first week while a guide they know got skunked the first week. Some years are better than others. I expect the water temps to be a lot cooler this year due to the whole lake freezing up early plus a lot of ice & cold water will be coming down from lake Huron. I expect a lot of small ones to be caught the first week.
