On Sunday January 12th at 11:30am at the Chicago Muskie Expo, Thorne Bros will once again be presenting a Poolside Demonstration—but YOU will be the presenter! In the past, we’ve had lure manufacturer’s demonstrate their baits and in the last couple of years Shimano has had their bucktail burning contests featuring retailers and guides (which Thorne Bros won both times!).

Our thought was ‘why not combine the two and put the rods and reels in your hands’. It is one thing for Thorne Bros to win a bucktail burning contest, but how does that allow you (the customer) to try the rods and reels and make up your own mind on what is best and what will work best for you or for certain techniques?

We will have some rod and reel combos set up and ready to go along with an assortment of baits. Reps from the rod and reel companies will be on hand to answer your questions and assist you. This will be on a first come basis and we’ll do our best to get thru as many people as we can in the time allowed.
