Well, I guess this is the "newish" technique that not everyone has embraced yet but I'd love to read some information about it. As far as I know, you are basically throwing a variety of lures over deeper sections of lake where baitfish are schooling and targeting the suspended muskies hanging out around them. I think some guys are intimidated to throw a topwater or bucktail over deep water but I've heard it can be very effective. I think over time it will catch on.....

Do a search in the general discussion. Keywords include "basin" and "abyss".
It really isn't new, and while effective it hasn't been embraced by all mainly because it's mind numbingly boring.

Not boring when you are catching fish.

Yes do a search you will find lots of stuff. You may have to do several searches where you narrow down the time frame that you search within due to the search function maxes out at so many hits, and does not tell you there are more available. You should be able to get threads as far back as 2003 or so.
